The Moomin plate set, containing plates Drawing and Christmas, are based on early Moomin mug illustrations no longer in production. The collector’s edition plates will only be available for a limited time.
The illustration of Drawing is based on Tove and Lars Jansson's Moomin comics, and it was first launched as a mug in 1996. In the illustration of Christmas, residents of the Moominvalley have gathered around a glistening pine tree. The mug with the same illustration was originally launched in 2004.
